Upon assessing Walmart’s existing creative systems, I identified an opportunity to establish a more centralized, scalable foundation for the evolving brand. The organization lacked a unified framework for translating brand standards across teams, campaigns, platforms, and creative formats, making consistency and production efficiency difficult to maintain at scale.
I translated Walmart’s brand direction into a comprehensive system of custom illustrations, visual guidelines, design rules, reusable styles, presentation templates, and structured components with flexible variants.
The final system was brought to life in Figma as a responsive, toggleable component library spanning Walmart’s paid advertising ecosystem, allowing teams to efficiently adapt layouts, messaging, and creative treatments across placements and screen sizes.
The system was designed to support both creative consistency and operational efficiency. It established a shared framework for collaboration and execution, enabling teams to produce work that remained flexible, scalable, and unmistakably Walmart across every channel.
Today, the system serves as a company-wide source of truth for Walmart’s creative teams, helping maintain brand fidelity while streamlining the development of large-scale paid media, presentations, and campaign materials.
